You can hate on the time and place where you live. It’s certainly your right to hate on whatever you want. Conversely, you can think the time and place where you live is perfect, and it’s equally your right to adore life today.
Either way, let’s remember something today of all days: an ordinary person today lives better than a king did 100 years ago. Joe Sixpack has access today to better nutrition, housing, travel, education, information, armament, creature comforts, communication, entertainment, and yes even medical care, than kings had access to in 1922. Maybe even 1972. You’ve got it pretty good, and you’re going to be okay.
